an introduction

in·tro·duc·tion
noun  /ˌintrəˈdəkSHən/
1. A formal presentation of one person to another, in which each is told the other’s name.
2. An explanatory section at the beginning of a book, report, etc.
3. A person’s first experience of a subject or thing.

When I decided to begin a blog, I'll admit that I had some idea of what I wanted the final outcome to be but when push came to shove, I really wasn’t sure of where to begin. Having thought about it though, it seemed only logical, and actually quite obvious, to begin with an introduction. So, it’s an introduction in a few forms. An introduction to this blog, to who I am, as well as an introduction of what blogging will be to me. As much as I'd love to be able to answer each of these now, this introduction will be kept short and sweet today because, to be honest, I can’t answer these questions. For the moment, it will be kept as is and the answers to what this blog is and who I am will become evident in time. In regard to what blogging will be to me, only time will tell the path this will take. And I think that is the way I like it. I mean, where’s the excitement if we had all the answers in the beginning anyway? It wouldn’t be any fun if we all knew where we were going and what this all meant.
